Anyone know who are the current longest running shirt sponsorships in England? Carlsberg started sponsoring Liverpool in about 1993 - are they the longest?

See that Bristol Rovers' shirt sponsorship will end in the summer after 11 years. I know that Darlington are into the 12th consecutive year with Darlington Building Society.

What about Bolton with Reebok - i guess that must be a similar timespan. Cant think of any other contenders though...

What about Hereford United and Sun Valley?

That sponsorship started in the early 90's i believe.

Tranmere Rovers have had Wirral since the late 80's. That's the longest I have seen.

i think the most known team with a long shirt sponsorship is PSV Eindhoven with PHILIPS...also IFK Goteborg with ICA

Arsenal & JVC '81-'99

Stoke have had Britannia for about 13 years now

Here in Holland we have PSV, Philips Sport Vereniging*. Philips has found PSV and as sponsor at the shirt for about 95 years now.

Sony have had the wellington phoenix ever since they were formed but finally they are ending the sponsorship

even wigan with JJb - 94-09

have just read that Stranraer have signed on for another year with shirt sponsor Stena-Line making it 22 years with them as shirt sponsor and making it the longest shirt sponsorship in Scotland followed by Queens Park being sponsored by Irn-Bru the next longest. dont know if any other Uk teams have had longer shirt sponsors than that though but think the Stranraer deal is the longest in the UK from what I gather

Manchester United had sharp from 1982-2000 (18 years) i think thats the longest as far as im aware of:cheer:

PHILIPS don't really "sponsor" PSV as the ARE PSV!

Haven't Football Club de Flamengo in Brazil had Petrobras (Lubrax) for nigh on 3 decades? I'm Sure they started sponsoring the team about 84-ish so it'd be 25 years or so if they're still the club sponsors now.
