I there, It all comes down to where you bought the shirt.

If you purchased it in a high street store; JJB/ Sportsworld/ Greeves etc. you should be able to take it back and ask them to re-press the name set. All you will need to do is specify the date that you bought the shirt and somehow prove it was bought there... recipt, bank statement.... if you are correct in saying that the shirt is only 4 months old and hasnt been subjected to too much wear the original pressing was clearly not done properly you would probably be right in claiming" the original product was faulty, possibly at the point of sale but has been aggrivated by general ware and tear" Properly pressed shirts should not come off within four months. However, be wary the might claim that four months is beyond the time to report a problem etc... In this case ask to speek to the superviser, and pit your point to him. If they stil persist. Offer a solution that will get your shirt re-pressed and you off there back about it... say you shall pay for the equivelent price of a Premier League 'O' which would be around £1/0.95... for them to re-press the faulty O, not re-place but re-press...
The process will take no more than a few seconds, but it is imperative that once done, you dont wash the shirt for a few days. All the shop will do is apply pressure to the nameset on a slightly lower heat than normal, to almost re-apply the name (in this case the 'o') to the jersey. And ta-da the nameset should look like new.

As I say this should be the case if you bought it from on of the main sports stores... If not it might be worth while giving it a go there (at a sport shop), by offering to pay the cost of the faulty character (as mentioned above).... some will do it willingly others will not agree to it as its not a service that is easy to find a barcode for. (I am not suggesting that the people at the till can be lazy I am just suggesting some of them will be less than willing to walk to the back of the shop to inquire about a 4-5 cm long letter O)

DO NOT- re-afix the letter yourself.

Some may comment on this thread in responce to my comment saying that it is cheaper and easier to re- stick/apply/press/attatch the letter by ironing it. I cannot inforce this enough- it will wreck the feal and look of the nameset completetly... It can be done well, but without proper knowledge of the material you are dealing with... PU, polyflex, senscillia, lextra... there is know way of guarenteeing a good repress with an iron.... The settings must be exact, and temperatures on irons fluxuate, so getting a consistant temp is hard.... then pressing the letter/ letter(s) can also be difficult as you will find that an iron does not spred heat evenly like a heat press and can not cover the full nameset.... leaving someparts un-touched... THIS WILL LEAVE PARTS OF THE NAME LIGHT AND DARK.... not a good look. In my opinion not worth the hassle that a trip down down and a pound can solve instantly

I would have offered to re-affix it for you if my press wosn't playing up, but unfortuneatly it's got a faulty spring so wont come back when you press it down.

I hope you get the shirt sorted out, and if you need any more help just email me.
