Millions of football fans around the world including myself have been feeling absolutely appalled and disappointed by the dwindling & terrible quality standards of major sponsors been printed on football jerseys for the past 4 to 5 years. We feel absolutely cheated by the manufacturers of the football jerseys as well as by all the the football clubs around the world, because as passionate fans we pay sky-rocket prices for a good pair of an authentic football jersey. Yet, the terrible quality of the advertisements that are printed on these jerseys are absolutely appalling. Totally disastrous.
These iron-on advertisements are totally not durable (even though how careful one's pair of hands takes to gently wash these jerseys) and are very prone to peeling-off, unlike the embossed or sublimated advertisements on jerseys of the yesteryears such as in the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s on which the advertisements still remain very much intact and stood the test of time.
We really, truely and sincerely hope that all the manufacturers of football jerseys (as well as all the respective football clubs around the world) are reading & listening to our plight. Bare in mind that we are all paying high premiums for good pairs of authentic football jerseys...only to be undone by shoddy quality of printings of the advertisements on the front of the jerseys.
We hope that the embossed & sublimated (printed into the jersey fabric itself - this is the best of the best cuz it will never ever peel off or get damaged) advertisements will make a comeback for good (if possible this coming season) because we don't mind paying good prices for an excellent quality of workmanship.
