Chelsea-fans and other shirt collectors might be interested in these two superb and almost unique matchworn Chelsea-shirts of the clubs all-time hero, topscorer and England international Kerry Dixon.
One is the white 1985-86 short sleeved, sponsorless Le Coq Sportif Away-shirt, with embroidered logo and (old) club emblem, stitched number 9, and necktie Made in UK by Le Coq Sportif, size Men 4/5-chest 38/40"
The other is the jade-green 1987-1989 long sleeved Umbro Away-shirt, with embroidered logo and old club emblem, printed sponsor 'Commodore', stitched number 9, stitched 'The Football League'-emblem on both sleeves and necktie 'Made in England' by Umbro, size: Large.
Both shirts came into my possession via a Chelsea youth player who joined Belgian second division side FC Boom in the late eighties.
At the beginning of next season I will throw these shirts on eBay. In the meantime those interested can contact me with offers or for more information and pics.
I myself am interested in certain matchworn pre-1991 Belgium national team shirts, and old vintage or matchworn shirts of Belgian clubs.
kind regards
