The Tuvalu National Football Association made a strong development in 2011. Victories against two FIFA-countries (Samoa and American Samoa) and a draw with Guam (also FIFA member) were guided by Dutch top coach Foppe de Haan who leaded the tiny island nation to great mile stones in Tuvaluan football history.
It is al part of a 5-year plan that should lead Tuvalu to become the next FIFA member.
