The winners of each football league division will be wearing gold sleeve patches next season.
Leicester City players will take to the pitch during the 2009/10 campaign wearing special gold sleeve patches on both home and away shirts.
The colour change differs from the traditional Coca-Cola red in recognition of the club's League One title victory.
And Foxes supporters will soon be able to purchase the patches from the City Megastore at the Walkers Stadium and online to apply to the 125th Anniversary jerseys.

Is that you trying to blame the Americans for the Brits copying something that the Americans don\'t actually do? Granted, some teams over there do occasionally wear a champions patch the following season, but it\'s at their own discretion and not directed by the leagues.
Why do people always assume that everything that they don\'t like in British sports is the fault of the Americans when time and time again Brits have proven to be perfectly capable of ****ing things up for themselves?
