Israel unveiled a new Football Crest

E-mail

new-israel-crest.jpg

The Israel Football Association unveiled their brand new football crest which is set to be placed on the 08/09 home and away shirts. The IFA was founded under the name Palestine Football Association (PFA) in 1928, 20 years before the establishment of the state of Israel at the end of the British Mandate of Palestine.

The PFA was accepted as a full member of FIFA in 1929. The PFA first dealt with local leagues, but later also managed the national team that was created to participate in the World Cup qualifications (participating in 1934 and 1938 as the Palestine/Eretz Yisrael national team). Upon creation of the State of Israel in 1948, IFA became the official association of the new state. The Israel national team's first game as an independent state was on September 26, 1948, against the USA (result: 1-3 to the USA).

Did someone say Éire (Ireland). Our badge is shite enough since it is to hard for anyone to sew on. They have to turn it into a bleedin sticker!

it\'s a shit.
0/5, how can they copy and paste irish crest?
OMG
But I have to say that the logo inside is better than Irish one,
the David star that form a ball is a good idea

great design in the center of the badge, but the outline is just a ridiculous copy of the Irish badge...

o guess this designer is making lotsa money, cos created the crest of Ireland, Arsenal, Portsmouth, and maybe the Norway too...using almost the same shape. Ridiculous...

ah, and old Israel crest had much more personality thanthis one. A unique shape, despite of this David\'s star shaped ball getting very creative...

the brazilians clubs also needs a renewal, but here the people are radically tradicionalist...

How could they make it look so much like Irelands and think no one would notice. Or do they think national crests are like kits now. Just pick a template and we\'ll make you a badge in 5 minutes.

I\'m not crazy about it - it isn\'t a bad design but it doesn\'t look official...they MUST change that font , the \'Israel\' looks like someone typed it up and printed it out of their home computer...

I really like the Irish logo - kinda reminds me of clovers...

I\'m not fond of either, to be honest. I\'d have rathered keep the badge from the 90s. Back in the day Ray Houghton put THAT header in against England in Euro 88.

That was a cracking day for our country, that.

Just like the shitty irish crest that we seem to change every ten years as it gets out dated. Bring back the euro 88 ray houghton crest, stuttgart, ireland 1 england 0,
