very good though i'd prefer it with more red, ie the name and numbers and maybe the umbro logo

Again, lovely the design, but surely the point of having a star above the crest, is to boast about your world cup wins, so why hide it against the background. Making it red would be brilliant (:
You are right about the star, it does seem a bit pointless to hide it and it would look great in red.
