Rules
- 16 people each select a team above on a first come first serve basis by posting in this thread. They will then randomly drawn against one another and each user will design a home kit (full shirt, shorts, socks, back of the kit optional) for their chosen side.
- The kit must be a fantasy design and not be a pre-existing template. Using historical elements of previous kits is fine.
- The kit can contain any manufacturer or sponsor logos, just not a pre-existing design as stated above.
- Players have a week to design their kit for their team and post it in the design gallery.
- Failiure to post within the alloted time will result in your opponent gaining a bye to the next round.
- You are not allowed to post up early versions of your kit for comments in the design gallery.
- Kits must be posted on a canvas of 1000 x 1000 px or higher.
- Once the entries are in I will post both kits side by side, this is when the voting starts.
- Only users entered into the competition may vote.
- You are not allowed to vote on your own designs.
- Users vote by writing the username of whose kit they think is the best in the comments box and MUST include a sentence as to why they have decided on their choice.
- Everyone competiting in the tournament MUST vote, so the total number of votes should come to 14.
- If a competing user fails to vote then they will be penalised by having one vote taken from them.
- The user who gets the most votes after all have voted will advance to the next round, choose another team that remains unpicked and face another user until an overall winner is determined.
- Should a tie-breaker be required voting will be open to the public for 24 hours.

Just added a rule for when voting.
- If a competing user fails to vote then they will be penalised by having one vote taken from them.
Hopefully this will make sure that everyone involved votes.
just a random question, how is the draw made? I know it's random but how do you do it, do you pick the names/numbers out of a hat or something?

@ctfcrobin, that's exactly how, rather low tech way I know but it gets the job done.
oh right, yeah it would be the only way I could think of too but I just wondered.

In the next hour. Donnypool didn't post his kit till late last night otherwise it would have started yesterday.

Nice to see nearly everyone has voted already. Just Zoran and gonzalez yet to cast all their votes.
Donnypool is missing voting from the Lyon vs Ajax and Villarreal vs Plzen matches.
1kitdesigner is missing from voting on Shakhtar vs Leverkusen.
Just waiting on Gonzalez to vote to round everything up now, his vote will only make a difference to once match up as all the others are mathematically confirmed.
He's got until midnight tomorrow.
