Blackburn Rovers has confirmed a new partnership that will see the club’s kit sponsorship move from Umbro to the Nike brand from the start of the 2013-14 season.
The Umbro sponsorship, which has been in place since 2007, will continue to the end of the current 2012-13 season, after which all kit, training wear and related products will be designed, manufactured and distributed by Nike until 2016.

West Ham United announce Alpari Shirt Sponsorship
West Ham United have announced a historic partnership with leading global forex broker Alpari. The agreement will see the association of Alpari companies worldwide become the club's new Principal Sponsor - including the Alpari logo on the front of the famous claret and blue shirt - from the start of the 2013/14 season.
West Ham United and Alpari marked the signing of the new partnership with a live event on the Alpari trading floor in London. Sam Allardyce and Kevin Nolan, Matt Jarvis and Joe Cole competed against each other in a currency trading contest that brought the worlds of football and online trading together.
England Say Farewell To Umbro
Tonight's match against Brazil at Wembley marks the last time England will wear an Umbro shirt - for the foreseeable future at least.
The confirmation that the Nike kit contract will commence after this evening's game came via Umbro's Facebook page, by way of a tribute to fifty years of double diamonded shirts - allowing for an Admiral-designed intermission in the late 70s/early 80s - and a cheeky reference to Nike's "Just Do It" slogan.
Puma announce AFCON Partnership
Puma announced its partnership with the Confederation of African Football’s major competition, as the Official Fan Supplier for the Orange Africa Cup of Nations, SOUTH AFRICA 2013.
This partnership will see the first merchandise developed and distributed before the first fixture between South Africa and Cape Verde on the 19 January and will continue throughout the tournament.
As the official Fan Supplier, PUMA has the exclusive worldwide rights to develop and distribute sport and sportlifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories carrying the logos of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations, SOUTH AFRICA 2013. In addition, the deal with CAF also includes exclusive rights for PUMA to operate retail stores, vending stands and kiosks including those in the stadium, for the sale of PUMA’s Orange Africa Cup of Nations, SOUTH AFRICA 2013 Official Fan Merchandise.
Sweden Announce Adidas Kit Deal
The swedish FA (SvFF) announced that adidas will be their new kit manufacturer until 2019. The agreement with SvFF is valid for six years starting on 1 January 2013. Adidas is the SvFF's exclusive supplier of materials for both men, women, the youth national teams, as well as of products for the fans.
adidas and Swedish Football have a long and successful history together. Several classic Swedish national teams have enjoyed much success with the iconic three stripes on their shirts, with the team's bronze in the 1994 World Cup as the brightest example.
Celtic Announce Magners Shirt Sponsor Deal
We showed you a picture of a leaked Celtic 13/14 home football shirt yesterday and today Celtic announced that the new shirt sponsor will be Magners from the start of the 2013/14 season. Celtic Football Club signed a three-year shirt sponsorship with Magners, the premium international cider brand.
Magners has a strong track record of engaging fans via successful and innovative sponsorships across rugby, football, comedy and music and is currently working with Celtic to develop a range of initiatives to support its partnership with the club.
Nike Announces United Soccer Leagues Sponsorship
Following the sale of the Umbro Brand by NIKE, Inc., the sponsorship of United Soccer Leagues (USL) has transferred from Umbro to Nike, effective immediately. The sponsorship will continue to involve support of USL PRO teams and events.
The USL is the organizer of several soccer leagues with teams in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. It includes men's and women's leagues. In 2011 it also assumed the operations of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
Sevilla Sign Warrior Kit Deal
Warrior Sports has made its first move into Spanish football, announcing the brand will become the official kit supplier of La Liga side, Sevilla Fútbol Club. Effective from July 2013, the deal will see Warrior design the Sevilla FC home and away kits, along with training and lifestyle wear for the next five seasons.
Founded in 1905, Sevilla FC is renowned as the most successful club in the Andalusia region of Spain. Amongst its European and international achievements, the Club has won five Copa del Rey titles, along with two back-to-back UEFA Cups in 2006 and 2007.
