Ebbsfleet United will have a brand new home and away kit manufactured by Nike next season as a result of the vote at the MyFootballClub website

Ebbsfleet United will have a brand new home and away kit manufactured by Nike next season as a result of the vote at the MyFootballClub website.

In results revealed this morning, of the 13,809 who voted on the Nike proposal, 91.26% (12,602) voted to accept Nike’s offer to supply kit and merchandise for Ebbsfleet United, starting from the 2008/09 season.

Southampton sign Umbro deal

Umbro will be the official supplier of all Saints playing and training kit for the next five seasons from 2008/09 through to 2012/13.

The deal marks the end of the club's own brand manufacturing policy which has been in place since 1999 as Saints join Umbro's impressive list of UK clubs which includes Everton, Wigan, Glasgow Rangers, Blackburn Rovers, Heart of Midlothian, West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City, West Ham United, Hull City, Nottingham Forest, Sunderland, Lincoln City, Linfield and Glentoran.

West Brom have confirmed that they have extended their kit deal with Umbro for a further three years.

West Brom have confirmed that they have extended their kit deal with Umbro for a further three years.

Albion renewed the successful partnership they enjoyed with Umbro during the late-1970s and early-1980s at the start of last season, and the British sportswear manufacturer will continue to be the club's official supplier of playing and training kits until 2011.

PUMA and Ghana Extend Partnership until 2014

PUMA and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) today announced a multi-year extension of their successful partnership through the 2014 FIFA World Cup™. The deal is estimated to be worth as much as $25 million (£12.7 million).

The announcement was made by PUMA CEO Jochen Zeitz and GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi during a special ceremony in Ghana’s capital of Accra that took place one day after a stunning and colorful opening ceremony and Ghana’s 2:1 opening victory over Guinea. "Ghana was one of the most inspiring stories of the 2006 World Cup™, capturing the world’s attention with their exciting style of play and passion for the game," said Zeitz.

The sportswear manufacturer wanted as much involvement as possible from Capello in their unveiling of the red strip, likely to be at England's Grove Hotel base in Hertfordshire, especially given the super hard sell required following the failure to qualify for Euro 2008

The supposed honeymoon period for new England manager Fabio Capello before his first game against Switzerland on February 6 has proved rather more complicated than the Football Association were expecting.

Not only has there been the tax-evasion investigation Capello is facing in Italy but also the sensitivities surrounding Umbro's launch of their new England away kit two days before the Wembley friendly.

MIDDLESBROUGH Football Club has sealed its biggest ever sponsorship deal after signing an extension to its current agreement with Garmin.

Only days after the launch of the Middlesbrough 08/09 Home Errea kit vote, Middlesbrough Football Club has sealed its biggest ever sponsorship deal after signing an extension to its current agreement with Garmin.

The one-year extension means the name of Garmin will continue to appear on Boro's shirts during the 2008-09 season. The world leader in satellite navigation equipment, Garmin had initially signed a 12-month principal sponsorship contract for 2007-08 but both parties are delighted to have agreed a longer deal.

PUMA kicks off at 2008 African Cup of Nations E-mail

As the official supplier to a dozen national teams across Africa, PUMA will be worn by nine of the 16 teams in the tournament, including hosts Ghana and defending champion Egypt.

PUMA, which sponsored all five African teams at the 2006 FIFA World Cup™, is again at the forefront of African football when the 2008 African Cup of Nations kick-off on Sunday in Ghana. As the official supplier to a dozen national teams across Africa, PUMA will be worn by nine of the 16 teams in the tournament, including hosts Ghana and defending champion Egypt.
