Wayne Cowen, Blues' Head of Retail, said: "We are delighted to announce this new partnership with Diadora and are looking forward to seeing the three new kits being worn with pride.
"The kits are of the highest quality, as to be expected from a brand with Diadora's calibre. We feel this is a fantastic move for the club and are looking forward to working with such an established sporting brand. "
Guy Walker, JD Sports Head of Football, said: "Diadora is a fantastic brand and we are very pleased to have secured this partnership with Birmingham City FC.
"They have such a great and loyal fan base and I am looking forward to the forthcoming kit launches to hear the fans reaction and comments. We are delighted to have a club of this stature endorse the Diadora brand. The three bespoke kits have been designed exclusively for the club and we are sure they will prove to be very popular with both the players and fans."
The shirts will be available to pre-order soon from the club shop and online ahead of the full launch in September. The new shirts will be stocked in the Blues Superstore at St. Andrew's and local JD stores.
Supporters will get their first look at the new home kit ahead of Blues' forthcoming pre-season fixture against Borussia Mönchengladbach in Munich on Saturday 21st July.
Blues' partnership with previous kit suppliers Xtep has been ended by mutual consent.

Looking forward to seeing the new design.
Im special like that
We had an away shirt last season (the stripey dark one) that we didnt even wear, yet fans shelled £40 out for them.
Finally back to a proper brand, who can make a decent kit (as mentioned, our 2004-05 ones were nice!)
The interesting line is :
"The three bespoke kits have been designed exclusively for the club"
Which means we wont get some samey samey template that loads of other clubs have, like lower level teams on adidas/Nike just get copies of Liverpool/Man Utd in their own colours
They are actually very very nice kits indeed. I've been lucky enough to see the home kit anyway. Not sure about the away yet, but if they are as nice and as good quality as the home kit, we have a good deal here! KRO
We have our own unique kits this season, none of this template rubbish, also nice to see we didn't follow the sheep and go for Nike, Umbro or Adidas, these smaller firms are usually better for worth, in that they charge less for the club for special designs. KRO
MrBS give us a description then?
From what i've seen, diadora doesn't do bad kits.
Have you got a link so i could see it?
