Bristol City Announce Adidas Kit Deal

bristol city adidasBristol City Football Club announced that adidas will become their official kit supplier after signing a long-term deal with the world's number one football brand.

As well as the supply of replica kits, adidas will also be offering a high quality range of performance training wear and leisure wear.

The training wear will launch for sales on June 1st, followed by the sales launch of the exciting new home kit later that month.

The Global Sports Brand already boast Chelsea and Liverpool amongst their sponsorships as well as many Commercial Partnerships in the UK including Derby County and Middlesbrough.

Group managing director Doug Harman told bcfc.co.uk: "We are delighted to be able to announce our new kit and leisurewear partnership with adidas.

"The new arrangement underlines the club's ambition to move ahead on all fronts with plans that add value to the Bristol City brand and our partnership with adidas is certain to achieve that.

"The fashionable new range is bound to prove very popular and I am confident this will lead to record sales of replica kit and of training and leisure wear. Fans will be able to purchase training wear and view the new home shirt in the Megastore from June 1st."

Steve Holland, Sales Development Manager for adidas UK Ltd, said: "Bristol City is a club that adidas are looking forward to partnering with.

"The club have some compelling and exciting plans and developments happening over the next few years and we are excited to be part of this with the club."

The BCFC Megastore at Ashton Gate will enjoy a refit later this month as part of the new long-term agreement with adidas.

Look out in the coming weeks for details of the club's new training wear and the first pictures of the club's new kit for 2010/11.

gonna be another 'constantly used' Championship template isnt it.....I dont see the big deal in Adidas....

well, city had puma this season just gone.. the kit was pretty boring, so a change to adidas should spice things up.. still its only a football shirt brand!!
