Chelsea FC is in advanced talks to extend its multimillion-pound sponsorship deal with Samsung.

Chelsea and Samsung agreed a £50 million 5 year deal with premier league football club Chelsea in 2005, and Samsung is now apparently looking to extend the sponsorship deal.

The new deal will include continued shirt sponsorship, as well as other brand promotion opportunities, such as sponsorship within Stamford Bridge, branding on Chelsea’s official website and the availability of Samsung’s products in the Chelsea shop.

It also gives Samsung the opportunity to use Chelsea players for future advertising campaigns.

Although I love QPR, they--they being Chels--should go back to \'Fly Emirates,\' or find another sponsor. Autoglass was shite and Samsung is just a way for Roman to try and be like Madrid with Siemen\'s.

EXACTLY right K. Actually feel sorry for genuine older Chelsea fan\'s who must feel outnumbered by the soulless gloryhunters and random Malaysian CSC\'s that have now attatched themselves to this grim corporate monolith. Can\'t wait for Abramovitch to lose interest. Anything \"won\" by them is next to meaningless.

K:

Corrupt club? In what way are they corrupt? It\'s not the fault of Chelsea fans that a russian billionaire--who btw is using all of his own money--can afford to do what he pleases. Want to talk about corrupt? Let\'s talk about City.

p.s. if you\'re talking about corrupt from a footballing perspective, everyone is guilty of tapping up and unsettling players. everyone is in it for the money, even the players--sad sad state of affairs.
