liverpool adidas

News of the World reports that liverpool are set to sign a new £150 million kit deal with adidas.

Adidas are desperate to reaffirm their commitment to Liverpool FC who, alongside United, blow their Premier League rivals out of the water when it comes to worldwide shirt sales. The German manufacturer are convinced investment is on its way to Anfield and a new board will soon be in place following the £110m debt reduction from the Rhone Group.

The current deal between adidas and Liverpool, worth £12m-a-season, has two years to run but discussions are underway over a new ten-year deal, which will rival Manchester United's record-breaking deal with Nike.

United signed a £300m deal with Nike for 13 years in November 2000 - but that included their entire merchandising rights. Liverpool will be looking to better Chelsea's 10-year deal with adidas which was worth £100m in 2005. They will want a minimum of £15m a year.

Actually Adidas is the biggest sport manufacture at the present.

And I agree, although Umbro has produced some good kits in the latest years. And Umbro is also owned by Nike, why change to umbro when Adidas produces nice kits on the long run compared to the boring/simplistic designs of Umbro and Nike.

Quoting Don be stupid u dick:
Don be stupid u cock adidas is way better than umbro

Adidas is shit. Designs are crap and have been for as long as I remember.
Umbro has killed Adidas with recent designs... So what if they're the biggest manufacture... Shit material shit designs. Nike and Umbro are killing them with their retro kits.
Idiots.

FSC posted this a while ago, I'm pretty certain that these are what will be revealed in the days to come.

Quoting RFC Miller:
I hope Glasgow Rangers can sign a deal with Adidas next season. I am tired of the Umbro crap.

Why should Adidas sign DIE HUNS? Just because they´re from Germany? Rangers, as the staunchly british stronghold should stick with UMBRO, and Umbro-ny the way-manufactures XXXXXXL and XXXXXXXXXXXL Shirts, so the fat, bald, tatoed IBROX inbred fits into it. Adidas and Nike just produces up to XXL and that wouldnae fit you fatties.

UMBRO & BUCKFAST.....but Tennents and UMBRO is good, too.

Good , for us we need a long time commitment with shirt companies , we don't won't to go back to Reebok or picked up by umbro and £15 million is a lot of money for one year that can help us get a decent player or two. It also said new investment , we really need someone to come in and get hicks and gillet out , they aren't focused on Liverpool FC they are in America going to every Dallas Stars Hockey match.
Since 2007 when they came to Liverpool FC they have not had a single board meeting . They have spent no more than Arsenal , Chelsea , Manchester United and Manchester City who haven't played in the Champions league , which is worrying .

Please let me know what you all think but not having a board meeting since 07 is serious business.

What a shame; another 10 years of bland adidas templates. A club with the history of Liverpool should have a distinctive style all of their own and in my opinion that means a return of the Umbro brand and the 70's club crest.
