Liverpool have wrapped up a £25m-a-year kit deal with Boston-based company Warrior Sports, according to reports in Friday's papers.
Warrior, a subsidiary of New Balance, will take over from adidas ahead of the 2012-13 season and it is expected to be a long-term relationship which puts Nike’s deal with Manchester United - worth £23.5m - into the shade.
The news comes as a huge blow to their current kit manufacturers as Liverpool's shirt is the fourth-highest selling replica in the world.
Around 900,000 shirts are sold annually, a number only beaten by North West rivals United, plus Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Liverpool owner John W Henry had said that the club would only spend money that it generates and with Champions League football at least another season away, the promise of funds will boost the club's muscle in the transfer market.
Warrior are a big player in the United States where they have traditionally been associated with ice hockey and lacrosse.
The company, set up by Dave Morrow - who also invented the first ever titanium lacrosse stick - was bought out by New Balance in 2004.
The brand was transformed from a niche-market player to a huge brand big enough to sign a multi-year deal with the baseball giants Red Sox.
As part of the company's expansion, they have increased the number of player sponsorships and worldwide sales totalling £1billion has facilitated the move into football.

man there goes my adi
i reckon warriors effort will be something along the lines of the old reebok kits.
and at least it wont have 'BELIEVE' written on the reverse of the badge
How did your team's season go?
usa usa all ways there to help helpless england people weak old england g a ys
MUFC Champions
A Massive Massive deal for any club from any sport.
Come back when you have won the champions league five times,
YNWA
Hell, come back when you've won the Premier League even ONCE!
I am a United fan and to be honest this is a good deal, as the other guy said, £45mil between 2 sponsors is good going. Must say though, a kit does not define a team, you slag Macron but look how good Napoli are doing and they are sponsored by them.
The same USA who were semi-finalists in the very first World Cup back in 1930?
Wrong, it's for everyone.
from when to when did they had adidas and reebok?
A Scouser will be able to give you a more definitive answer.
Moving from top notch quality Adidas to "Warrior Sports" is like selling your Mercedes in order to buy a Chevy for a good discount!
They're paying 25 Million, higher than Nike pays the Manc. So obviously if Adidas wasn't willing to match it, it's best to go with a brand that will.
Suppose...i guess. But as i said, Warrior will really have to prove themselves and make a very good first impression, which im sure they better for the whole umm "£25million" kit deal. Just have to wait and see...
Adidas are the biggest sport manufacturer in the world and have always designed great kits for liverpool.
At the end of the day its the fans that are going to be buying these kits so surely we should get a say.
You obviously don't understand business. Nor do you understand that the premier-league is a corporate entity, where a few million here or there, makes a huge difference to a team.
You don't get a say because like many others, your opinion is based on feelings and emotions, and not on facts and knowledge. Hence why you're not likely to ever be a major director of a corporation or the Prime Minister. You don't know enough to make the right kind of decision when it comes to something bigger than managing your own finances.
Leave the decision making to the people who know how to do their job. Not to people who think that a shirt should have more pin stripes.
Well it's not that easy my friend. Its all about distribution. Where the likes of adidas and Nike have worldwide distribution and the LFC brand is shown around the world these new and small brands do not have any distribution at all and all of a sudden you can't buy the replicas in important markets like Japan, China etc. So then the "fans" chose to support another team like ManU, Chelsea etc that they can buy replicas and fan apparel from in their own markets. All of a sudden you sell less merchandise and then the money you gained from that big deal is not so big or worst case inferior to what the adidas deal would pay.
Carousels and swings my friends.
About 75% (at LEAST) of those United or Chelsea shirts one can buy in important markets such as China are fake, so even though the club still retains visibility in said market (and TV ratings go up as a result), the club doesn't even get a penny from the shirts due to the fact that it's not licensed by the club, nor does the maker of the fake shirt have any financial obligation to give the club anything.
Carousels and swings go both ways, mate. The shirt will still be available at major sporting goods stores or football-specific stores. Just because the shirt won't be found in an official Nike or adidas shop doesn't mean it's going to be impossible to find. Keep in mind, real fans can also order things off the internet these days, right from the club itself or from one of the thousands of online stores that sell these kind of things.
Your bitterness and obsession is very sad to say the least. To even call yourself 'ScouserHater' proves what a sad little chap you are.
Big player in the US? Sorry, but I've never heard of this brand before. You know who I have heard of? Adidas.
from when to when did they had adidas and reebok?
help, anyone? if you know, please share :)
1985–1996: Adidas
1996–2006: Reebok
2006–2012: Adidas
2012 onwards: Warrior
People might answer your question if it actually made any sense
After L'pool-Adidas break, I think champagne is running out in Nike Football HQ
numer 1 u dont even know who warrior are and if liverpool(best team ever) are shit who have they got a kit deal than man u
tell me, what "history" was lost here? the same lost "history" when they moved from Reebok to Adidas??
wha u laughing at
mate , Bata is from czech republic. Do some reserach before you post .....
if they gunna get a worse sponsor than adidas then get summat like puma or kappa or carbrini not summat that 1. no ones heard of 2. a company that only specialises in hockey/lacrosse etc.
True but Nike was already making great products and had name recognition. Who the hell is Warrior? They make hockey jersey's?? For who, high school teams??
Sponsor ridicule
So that means Warrior will be making LFC footballs when they've never done it before?
Man, I can see an F50 beater right there. Wait there while I get my Lebron James brand 'soccer cleats'
Correct me if I am wrong but I only see the 2 stripes on all MLS kits.
Warrior is actually owned by New Balance, which is a pretty large manufacturer pretty well known in track and field areas. Warrior was a lacrosse brand owned by NB (as article states.) NB has deep pockets. Given that NB is a Boston based corporation, it makes sense given that the Red Sock and John W Henry are in Boston as well. I think given that there will no longer be any more of those annoying 3 stripes on the shirt sleeves, that the products may actually look more clean.
Its not like it a Li Ning deal or something
The diamond stud wearing, stuck up crowd sums up that brand so well. Just look at who they sponsor and who buys their crap products.
You're ragging on Nike because of some of the players they sponsor?
Dude, C. Ronaldo might be one of those players, but he's playing for Real Madrid, he scores them by the dozen and he's bedded more women in the past day than you'll ever in your life times 50.
Nike makes some good stuff, stop being so ignorant.
Umbro is class and quality right. Everyone loves those "fitted by Umbro" kits. ahhh Umbro is owned by Nike...
YNWA
JFT96
Quoting Tony Gee:
3 stripes, buddy. Adidas is 3 stripes. All MLS clubs use Adidas.
Easter egg?
Yeah but no star player is going to want to wear a second rate crap kit.
Yeah actually you're right, I'm sure those that play at Barcelona play for them because they are supplied by Nike and not because they want to win trophies. Forgot about that one.
With Wenger increasingly reluctant to spend money on players, Liverpool could be back in the top four with a bit of wise spending and this enables them to do that all through a sports supplier. I'm not a Liverpool fan, but choosing between being supplied by Nike and not winning anything for six years like Arsenal or being supplied by Warrior Sports and potentially winning the league, I know which I'd pick.
I was being sarcastic dip sh*t.

That's their highest-end lacrosse gloves, they make really great quality stuff. Believe me, I use their lacrosse equipment. Many NHL players use their hockey gloves and sticks. The company is really growing and has massive potential.
It truly is terrifying...., I've just filled my pants
But for liverpool its also bad, marketing wise adidas much better that this company, im not living in UK or US, so how i will get liverpool kit ?
Use your censoreding brain and realize that it'll be available on this thing called "the internet", which you already use.
Retard.
Don't you have Warrior stores wear you live?
If you refuse to pay for shipping (which is usually a lot LESS than in-store tax, no matter where you live), then you'll just have to miss out. Sorry, get with the times, people order things online these days, and that's just the end of it. Besides, you have football stores where you live, and chances are they'll have the shirt available. You don't have to go to an official Nike store to get your hands on an Arsenal shirt, so why would you need to go to an Adidas one to get a Liverpool shirt?
I just hope it doesn't look like a pub team kit when LFC release it.
I'm gonna give Warrior a chance. Even Nike had to start somewhere. They only had Sunderland in the 80s before disappering out of SOCCER for a few years!
Oh my days Ray - you crack me up !!!!!
Sunderland actually did have Nike making their kits in the mid 80s (1983-86? - they wore a Nike kit in the 1985 Milk Cup Final), the home kit was red/white stripes on the body of the shirt with white shoulders and sleeves. Nike's UK headquarters were in Sunderland back in the 80s, probably the reason why they wore NIke then. I think Cambridge United wore Nike as well during that time.
And you crack me up! Here's their 1983 Home kit, pay attention to the upper right hand part of the shirt, you might find a Swoosh logo, implying that NIKE made the shirt.
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_WN7p6KRwBjQ/TGw5vsUWlJI/AAAAAAAAAic/btSVfbF7YmM/s1600/football_shirt_10008_1_500x400x0.jpg
Hahahahaha Oh my days!!!!!! This is hilarious. Warrior sports (made by New Balance) are gonna make liverpool's kit from season 2012/13 onwards!!!!!!!!
true true words!
Actually, it's not a joke.
New Balance makes some of the best running shoes on the planet. FACT.
Warrior and BRINE are not skater-type brands, you ignorant faggot. Warrior makes hockey and lacrosse equipment, and that's it. Trust me, I've been around Lacrosse A LOT longer than you have (another FACT). I know what Warrior is, and what it isn't. BRINE is just soccer and lacrosse make, and they used to make football boots, I have a pair that I used in High School and were a great pair of boots, I had a 22 goal season wearing them.
Skater-type brands would be Etnies, Vans, Airwalk, Independent or World Industries. But then again, you probably don't skate either so you truly have no idea what the censored you're talking about.
Thanks man, good to see the NYRB repped on these boards, as well (hopefully) as the Tri-State area. Port Chester NY represent!
Warrior make Lacrosse and Hockey gear? Damn! They must be a natural choice with all their years of experience making football equipment. They used to make football boots? I can see the sales pitch right now! While you're at it, maybe you can persuade Puma to make Baseball bats for the Yankees, and Lonsdale to make Tennis rackets for Federer!
And of course RBNY, owning their branded Hockey stick means that they're perfectly able to produce a quality football!
How much of an idiot must we all be! I'll go back eating to my Microsoft ham sandwich, I've heard they make great computers, so why not a delicious snack?
Several reasons.
The first of which is that I have an interest in football shirts in general. Secondly, I'm allowed to make a comment, if the administrators didn't like what I have to say they'd have banned my IP address. They haven't. Thirdly, I'm allowed to make a remark about how nice it is to see another poster here from the same area as me, especially since I live in a country where football isn't extremely popular, and deductive reasoning would bring about the conclusion that posters from that country, especially from a very specific area, would be quite rare. Thirdly, this has to do with a brand from my country of residence doing business with a group of people who are from my country of residence. It matters to people outside of Liverpool, too.
http://www.soccer.com/images/Catalog/ProductImages/300/11016.JPG
needless to say they did not do well on footwear so now they do only balls, shinguards and a few accessories.
this is their website
www.brine.com
just click on soccer
CCM still make superior products, but when they lost the jersey deal with the NHL it really hit them hard. The quality of their products is the absolute highest of any brand in the world from the equipment to the clothing.
Nike Bauer are doing alright. A lot of hockey players use their sticks and skates, but they receive a lot of complaints due to quality. When I was working at a sports store we often had returns due to faulty products. When they worked they're on, but it can be hit or miss. When Nike purchase Bauer it all went downhill from a hockey standpoint.
When Warrior started off no one wanted to use their stuff. In fact, their earliest hockey sticks were awful because they broke easily. Hockey players were very skeptical until some of the big names started using their products. It is a shame that big money sponsorship deals had to force Warrior into the sport like Reebok has done at first, but once they got in other players started taking note of the high praise their products were receiving a few years in. The gloves and skates are incredible and their designs are very sleek and admirable.
Within a few years the Warrior brand has moved itself into the top four and as of right now I'd say have moved beyond Nike Bauer for quality and are close to Reebok for the same reasons. These days most players only use Reebok because the brand pays them to wear their stuff. Warrior has dropped away from sponsoring anymore big names and are allowing the quality to speak for itself through word of mouth. That's how Warrior has built their current reputation.
No, they should give away some of their chest or core protectors that they use for hockey/lacrosse with every purchase of a Liverpool shirt. It'd be better to get stabbed wearing one, and you know if you're out in Liverpool you're gonna get stabbed regardless, so it makes perfect sense!
Aye & franchise football on the way
quick, next thing u know its gonna have taliban owners, what in the premier is actually owned by BRITISH CITIZENS...............ENGLISH BROTHERS STOP THE INSANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There horribly overpriced..FAct
Americans are the fattest folks on EARTH
Coincidence
Liverpool is the fattest city in the UK
You tell me
Shut up yankie doodle, you don't know anythin about footy. Stick to soccer you whopper!!!!
I'm not American, you dumb skinheaded vagina. I'm Argentine, but I grew up in New York City. I know a LOT more about football than you ever will. We've got DOUBLE the World Cup trophies you have, and we've got the best player in the world, and of all time. Your beloved Rooney wouldn't make it into our U-17 B side, let alone our senior national team.
And if you're going to insult the United State's "soccer" team, you must have forgotten who they finished above in the World Cup group standings. I'll give you a hint: they kicked your ass in the 1700s and saved it from the Germans...twice. It's also a country where football is the 7th most played sport above the age of 13, behind American football, basketball, baseball, hockey, lacrosse, and tennis. Keep in mind, two of the best keepers in your country's top league are American. I can't think of one decent English keeper. Hell, England's best keeper couldn't start for a US Youth National team, seeing as how they're stocked with awesome keepers. Meanwhile, you're from a country that once viewed David James as world class. 'nuff said.
This should read "who England finished below"
If You really knew what went on in the 1700's You'd know that America did not ''Kick our ass'', it was an alliance between the French, Spanish and Dutch who helped America win the War of Independence, try reading facts before believing the shit that your teachers indoctrinate you with. You complete Cretin. Secondly, America did help us win the war, they did not ''save'' us as you say, they simply helped overthrow the Germans (Which by the way Britain and the other forces weakened considerably before US Forces came along) and to say things like America saved us from the Germans,You're clearly forgetting all the lives lost defending our country before the US jumped in,also, It's funny the way you jump on the ''America is the best at fighting wars'' Bandwagon, Because you can't really say this about Argentina, did the Falklands war hurt much? You daft prick! and finally, If you can't think of a good English keeper, Google Joe hart.
I'm English, and I grew up in England. I know a LOT more about football than you ever will. We've got one less world cus than Argentina have, but then again Argentina are lucky in that they only have one realistic local rival in Brazil, yet England have to compete with Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, France and Portugal when they want to qualify for a major tournament.
Unlike you I have a firm grasp of mathematics, and can quite easily deduce that Wayne Rooney wouldn't get into the Argentine U17 side, for the simple fact that he's 25 years old. Admittedly Lionel Messi is an excellent player, but then again anyone can look good in the Spanish league which has only two good teams and is therefore about as competitive as the Scottish Premier League. The identity of the best ever player in the world is debatable (Garrincha would have my vote, personally), but it sure as hell isn't that cheating cokehead Maradona.
And what the hell does it matter where a team finishes in the world cup group stages? Poland finished higher than Italy in the group stages of the 1982 World Cup - I bet that gave the Poles a lot of comfort when Italy came home with the trophy!!!
Two of the best keepers in the Premier Leage are American, you say? Well Tim Howard has been terrible for Everton this year, so I can only assume you mean Marcus Hahnemann, who can't get a game for lowly Wolves, and Brad Friedel, who's best days are about five years behind him.
Yeah, David James played for England a few times, so what? All national teams field the occasional weak player. I need only refer you to Arsenal reject Nelson Vivas, a fullback who astoundingly won 39 Argentina caps!!! 'nuff said.
Sorry, that should read world *cup*!!! Even superior Englishmen aren't immune from the dreaded typo!
Those two statements contradict one another, seeing how our neighbors Uruguay also have twice the amount of World Cup trophies than England does.
Well, my judgment of Uruguay was based on them having only qualified for 4 of the last 9 World cups, but if you want to discuss the two Uruguayan wins...
Number 1 in 1930, which England did not enter. Had they done so, England would obviously have won the tournament.
Number 2 in 1950, where, because of other teams withdrawing, they only had one other team in their first round group, and so had a virtual bye into the final round and less games to play than any of their rivals.
And England's 1966 win came at the expense of faulty and biased referees and some awful officiating. Since you bring up the 1930 win, keep in mind that England probably wouldn't have won, seeing how Brazil, Argentina and France also participated.
some ppl won't eat anything theyve never seen b4!!
great match
Some of the Adidas and Nike kits are boring. It's a template usually used for tons of worldwide teams. Hardly unique
Should be an interesting partnership
And in my opinion, you have to be sponsored by either Nike (+Umbro) or Adidas to be considered a top team. There are only a few exceptions.
haha cop that ya dumb argie
2 World Cups. I repeat, 2 World Cups. Call us when you get a second trophy, maybe, just maybe, we'll actually pretend like we care.
Ah yes, a two-bit, third-world country, burdened with heavy debt, a depressing economic outlook, high crime rates, high mortality rates, low education standards and widespread poverty. You can't even drink the tapwater over there.
Keep dreaming about those two world cups... I'm sure they give you much comfort whilst your country crumbles around you, reliant on foreign aid and charity handouts.

c'mon the liverpool red sox! go usa!
Signing a deal with any sponsor, even one that has not been a huge force in football for twenty five million is wonderful for the club that needs as much money as possible. To both, get out of its debt and to become competitive.
Sure, kits are nice to look at and admire; but if you're a true supporter you would realize that this is a deal not to pass up and you should kindly shut the f*ck up if you think that somehow a brand name is going to make the team better.
You are right though, LFC need to explore all revenue streams to stay competitive especially since our stadium isn't as large as our competitors. Combined with Standard Chartered's sponsorship deal, we'll have £45m per season coming in. That's enough to buy a world-class player PER season. It also takes the pressure off not playing in the UCL for at least one season, which is likely.
Investing what we earn on players is in my opinion a very healthy ideology, and it allows FSG to devote their capital toward solving the stadium dilemma.
I wouldn't knock it until they show off the new kit next year. Could turn out to be the smartest kit ever made. Probably not, but you never know.
Seems people are moaning because the liverpool tops wont match their adidas tracksuits they were day in day out.
Lets be hounest nike, adidas and umbro more or less just use templates in recent seasons that get shared out and about and off late some of their kits have not been great and some have. So lets see what happens.
But lets remember one thing a shirt manufactor logo does not win trophies. The team players and lots of money does and 25million plus sponsorship money is a good start and if Henry investment and buisness dealings brings back the title and glory days back to Anfield then for all I care their shirt can be made by Primark and sponsored by Happy Shopper !!!
In the US Adidas does the MLS and NBA gear, Reebok does the NFL and NHL so not that big but the money Liverpool is getting from this deal is good for the club, maybe not for the fans fashion though.
Just an idea of what Liverpool will be wearing next season from our friends at Warrior Sports.
http://www.robbinssports.com/images/warrior-lacrosse-stock-victory-game-jerseys-k100.jpg
Big S - I'm not english, i'm scouse, so i couldn't care less about England or the USA or Argentina or any country like that. They're all shit as far as I'm concerned. The deal with warrior is a good financial deal for liverpool, but lets be fair its a shit make. I know how fussy people in liverpool are about clothes and brands, so i can't see it workin out! I'll certainly have a good laugh at anyone walkin round in "Warrior" training gear or Warrior brand liverpool kits!
As for Argentina, it's a shit hole of a poverty striken country. No wonder you moved to New York. I'm assuming you dodn't live in Manhattan, so you probably live in the Bronx or Harlem!!!! Most of New York is a f'ucking horrible rat infested slum aswell, so it sucks to be you Big S.
I'm a scouser so I'm naturally probably better than you at football and have got a better knowledge of the game. Go and watch the New York Red Bulls or the Champions League on Fox Sport or ESPN from your armchair - you mug!!!!!!!! Absolute mug you are Big S!!!!!!!
Poverty stricken or not, we've got more World Cups than you, a better youth system than you, and we produce better players than England could ever produce. EVER.
Thirdly, Warrior is anything but a shit make, Lacrosse is one the most expensive sports to play in the USA (the cheapest gloves usually retail for over 100 USD, let alone shoes, helmets, sticks, etc...) and Warrior is THE most expensive and high-end brand in the sport. The same goes for Ice Hockey. I had a friend of mine in high school who had a pair of gloves made by Warrior, which ran him over 225 USD. The limited edition of those, which were probably the nicest piece of sporting equipment I've ever held in my hands, retailed for well over 300 USD, IIRC. My brother's team is sponsored by Warrior, and some of their stuff is incredible. You don't play Lacrosse so you really wouldn't know, though. Simply put, Warrior is the most expensive brands in one of the most expensive sports around. Shit? Hardly!
And you can't call anyplace a rat-infested shithole if you're from Liverpool, I have been to Liverpool multiple times and it's easily the ugliest, smelliest, dirtiest places I've ever been to in my life. I saw nothing but drunks, skinheads and dilapidated council houses (I assume you live in one). Hell, I would rather live in Jersey City, New Jersey (gun-related murder capital of the USA) or Detroit, or East St. Louis (commonly thought to be the most violent city in the USA) than Liverpool.
That's a terrible argument. That's like saying Andy Carroll is better than Lionel Messi, just because Carroll was the more expensive player!
Besides, lacrosse gear is only expensive because it's a niche product, so there's less economies of scale.
It's like how you can buy a copy of Avatar on DVD for under £10GBP, but for an obscure imported 1920s arthouse film you have to pay £20GBP... not because it's necessarily a superior product but because there's less demand, so production costs can't be amortised over as many units.
Messi never had a transfer fee attached to him, so your point is irrelevant. I'd venture to actually say that Messi is more expensive because his buyout clause is over 250 million euros, so if a club wanted to buy him they'd probably end up paying more than that. That's over 215 million MORE than what Carroll was bought for. But nice try.
I don't live in any council estate i can assure you. You've got our number alright, with the council houses and the skinheads, but fella you obviously missed a good chunk of liverpool. The nicest girls in the u.k come from Liverpool - FACT! Unlike the dogs you find in buenos aries and most of new york for that matter!
Warrior might well be a great make (in the USA) but it won't get any "street cred" over here - i can assure you. It's too americanised and our culture won't take to the brand. If its not Nike or Adidas it will get snubbed. (Even if it is technically a great brand). Freekin Umbro and BURRDA are great brands in terms of the gear and equipment they produce, but they're still considered shit makes in terms of street cred, etc!!!!!!!! No scousers will go round in Warrior gear, yet every other lad in liverpool wears adidas.
I'm actually on a soccer scholarship in the US, so i am familiar with the Warrior and BRINE brands. I'm currently staying in Seattle over the summer which pisses all over New York and most of the east coast for that matter!!! I pitty you living your new york nightmare whilst i live it up in the sunshine!
Like I say i don't give a shit how many world cups Argentina or England have won, I'm scouse you muppet, not English. The likes of Messi, Di Maria, Aguero etc.. have all left Argentina and don't even live there. You admitted it yourself that you left Argentina. So seeing as you're an ex-pat and no longer affiliated to the country you shouldn't be leeching off it's soccer achievements. If you loved the country so much you'd still live there!!!!
Big S,

You're an idiot. It doesn't matter what part of the world you're from.
Where's your falklands gone?
Where's your falklands gone?
Where's your falklands gone?
Where's your falklands gone?
You greasy mongrel!!!!!!
Where have they gone? Have they disappeared?
Douchebag.
Gutted that the 'biggest' club in the world's kit sponsorship has been dwarfed by still the most successful team in England.
Get over it u bitter twisted fools
A red warrior mascot carrying a lacrosse racket in massive new balance shoes in front of the kop???
Following the general logic behind that deal then more children would buy more Liverpool products > to allow then the club to buy more better players????
who cares about identity as long we can buy better players...sorry, not my cup of tea...
I'm shocked...and still can't believe it...
What is a douchebag?
Fans dont want their teams kit being made by some stupid american sports company. Why cant they just stick to their own sports like ice hockey and american football and leave football kits for people who actually know what football is.
I was actually starting to like the new owners aswell.
A stupid American sports company like say... Nike? or Umbro? (Liverpool's first logo'd kit manufacturer, now part of nike) or how about a stupid German company like Adidas or Puma?
I'd say signing the biggest kit sponsorship deal in the history of the sport is a way to show the fans that John Henry is completely serious about making Liverpool a top team again. Because if I was in his position, I'd definitely tell Warrior to censored off and continue making less money than what was offered to me. Yeah, the best way to show the fans that you care about your 300 million dollar investment is to turn down the opportunity for said investment to gain more money through sponsorships. Obviously he wants Liverpool to become the best team they can be off the pitch and on it. But then again, that's why he's running the club and you aren't.
Secondly, ice hockey isn't American. It's Canadian. Thirdly, Nike is American, and Umbro is owned by Americans. Nice try though.
Opinions aside as a American I'm proud to see a American brand representing a big club like Liverpool but to be honest I've only seen the warrior brand on a few number of small college football teams. The fact it's owned by NB is news to me. But Liverpool fans you should be glad you finally have a owner that takes the initiative to control the club by managing the financial part. Financial stability = profit. Profit= $ to spend on players and that equals cups. And sadly football is all about the $$. I know what that gutted feeling is like. My metrostars sold out to a energy drink. But atleast it's not li Ming or wutever and when you start winning cups you'll be thanking John Henry
And plus you can be assured that warrior will do it's best to design a kit worthy of liverpools status. This is huge PR and brand recognition for warrior if they disappoint the brand will sink. If they want to pierce the soccer market they are presented with a huge opportunity with Liverpool. So that will atleast give you reason to hope
Douchebagger
I do aspire to be like you but I'm not sure I really know what I'm aspiring to be like, could you clarify?
Thanks rupert mate.
I think the main thing people off footballshirtculture are aspiring to be like me is my quick whit, and the fact that Iam so straight to the point. I don't mess around and i just say it how it is!!!!!!! Also I hate that Argentine- New Yorkan yankee doodle - Big S. Alot of people can relate to me and they hate Big S. That's why they love me!!!!!!
From now on I no longer wish to be known as "Warrior - hahaha what a joke", I will now be known as "King Warrior". So Iam changing my userName to "King Warrior". You can address me as King Warrior from now on!!!
;-),
Considering LFC are american owned it will be Red Bull Liverpool next
Stolen from the shop made by adidas
haha and we all thought G&H were bad!?
almost all you have never heard of them, They arent nobodies are they if they can afford the biggest shirt deal in football history. £25m a year is a great deal for the club better than anyone elses in the world hows that hard to understand.
adidas isnt our tradition either umbro made our kits before so its not getting rid of any tradition either.
Why does it matter who makes your team kit? Are you Gok Wan?
A Giant that can afford to pay more than , nike, adidas, umbro, anyother manufacturer. Adidas and companies like nike have about 3 templates and use them for every team they produce for, No identity.
