Shrewsbury Town Announce Joma Kit Deal

Shrewsbury Town FC revealed their new relationship with JOMA SPORT. The new partnership will see the Spanish Sportswear brand become the Official Technical Sportswear Supplier to Shrewsbury Town for the next 3 seasons.

Joma Sport UK Sales Director Jon Haile commented "We are delighted to be working with Shrewsbury Town FC in what is a very important anniversary season for the club. What is special for us is that Shrewsbury Town is the first football club that Joma has signed in the UK since we launched as a subsidiary here earlier this year."

Ian Bebbington STFC Commercial and Operations Manager commented "To help celebrate our 125 year anniversary, JOMA have worked with us to design a traditional and classic version of the Shrewsbury Town FC strip that was worn 125 years ago. This is a special year for the Club and we have been delighted with JOMA's commitment to help us produce a special kit to help mark this momentous milestone in the Club's history". The new kits which will be revealed at a launch in July will feature modern apparel construction techniques with stylish designs.

 

Joma are the official sportswear suppliers to double UEFA Cup winners and this seasons Champions League contenders Sevilla, fellow La Liga club Getafe and World Cup 2010 qualifiers Honduras. In addition to this, the Spanish Olympic Team will be wearing JOMA for the London 2012 Olympics. Sevilla's Freddie Kanoute, Real Madrid's Pavon and Liverpool's Pepe Reina all wear the elite football boots manufactured by Joma.

JOMA'S family focus and emphasis on quality and customer service particularly appealed to the club, especially in the 125-year anniversary season.

great for the shrews, working with a top football brand at last. a direct deal with the the brand too not like most teams working with a park kit or through a distributor like genesis with puma.the drawing looks good so lets hope the real thing is a impressive. need a good manager now

Joma are a very good brand and the kits are high quality (I'm a Chrlton fan) They also take care of smaller clubs and often you end up with a unique kit, unlike the kits from Adidas, Nike and Umbro.

I think the new kit should have amber on it somewhere; blue & amber is synonamous with the Shrews it just doesn't look right without it!
