VfL Wolfsburg and worldwide leading football brand adidas officially agreed on a long term partnership to take over the kit deal from Nike.

As from the beginning of next 09/10 season, head coach Felix Magath’s men will be kitted out by the ‘Brand with the Three Stripes’.

In Germany, aside from VfL Wolfsburg, adidas are also outfitters of Bundesliga clubs FC Bayern Munich, FC Schalke 04, Hamburg SV, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and 1. FC Nürnberg.

VfL Wolfsburg and their current kit manufacturer Nike are now in the fourth and last year of their partnership which started in the 2004/05 season.
