Wind extend AS Roma sponsor deal
In 2007 wind signed a high profile agreement to become shirt sponsor of AS Roma football club.
The agreement said that Wind will be the “Main Sponsor” of the club for all matches until June 30, 2009, with the option by Wind to extend the sponsorship agreement for a third season.
Italian telecommunications company Wind has now exercised this option to extend the sponsorship deal with Roma.
The Wind sponsorship deal, which started with the 07/08 season will now end at the end of the 09/10 season.
Wind will pay to Roma EUR 7 million and a variable fee that is depending on performance and results.
