Leicester City today unveiled their new 2007-09 JAKO away kit to supporters for the very first time. The strip, which is shown here being modelled by Patrick Kisnorbo, Shaun Newton and Stephen Clemence, has a two-year cycle and will be available on general sale from 8am on Friday, August 10 at the City Megastore.
Season ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to get their hands on City's new kit before anyone else at a special preview evening on Thusday, August 9. Supporters who attend the Champagne reception, which is being held at the City Megastore between 6pm and 9pm, will get the chance to purchase the brand new strip on the night.
And as a special one off, the first 100 customers who attend the event will receive a signed picture of City boss Martin Allen, while there will also be a prize draw to win a signed version of the new shirt on the night. Fans will also be able to purchase the club's new home kit on the evening, which has gone down a storm with supporters since it was launched 10 days ago. City's head of retail Phillip Jones said: " We have been delighted with the support our fans have shown in purchasing the new kit.
"It is great that they have responded positively to the return of the two-year cycle and I am looking forward to seeing all the shirts in the The Walkers at Saturday's game." Season ticket holders are reminded that they will be able to gain their usual City Megastore 10% discount by producing their season ticket booklets on the night. Demand is expected to be high - so make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment. The away kit will then be available on general sale when the City Megastore opens its doors at 8am on Friday, August 10. The new shirt will carry the Topps Tiles logo and is available in all the usual sizes.
Adult shirts are priced at GBP 39.99 (small to 4XL in short and long sleeve) and kid's shirts are priced at GBP 26.99 (5-6 years to 13 years). Ladies 'fitted' shirts are also available at GBP 39.99 (size 8 to 16).
