We have shown you the pictures of the new barca shirts a few weeks ago and even brought you some history in the History of Barcelona football shirt design last week.
Today Nike and FC Barcelona have officially unveiled the new Barça kit for the 2007-08 season, which features the Camp Nou itself. The new kit for the 2007/2008 season celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Camp Nou , with details that celebrate the date. The new design has an elegant style reminiscent of the fifties but with a modern touch in the distribution of the stripes.

The main new features of both the home and away kits are to be found in the FC Barcelona badge, which incorporates a text referring to the 50th anniversary of the stadium. The central part of the new kit remains navy blue but has a more irregular pattern. Blue is also to be found on the shorts, while the Catalan flag, the 'senyera', and the slogan 'Més que un club' (More than a club) remain on the back and on the collar.
On the socks and on the hem of the shirt we find an image directly inspired by the poster produced for the inauguration of the Camp Nou in 1957.
Blue on the away kit
For the first time, the FC Barcelona away kit is an energetic mix of shades of blue, inspired by the blue seas that surround Barcelona. A stripe of shades of blue reflects the traditional stripes of Barcelona and add depth to the shirt. An energetic touch of yellow around the cuffs, on the inside of the waistband and on the name and number give the kit great strength.
