Rovers fans were given their first look at the new strips to be worn by the players next season when the Home and Away kits for 2007-2008 were unveiled at an Open Day attended by Rovers manager John McGlynn and players Steven Hislop and Craig Winter at Fife Autocentre’s new premises at Eastfield, Glenrothes this morning.
Fife Autocentre are the new sponsors of the home kit, and the manager and players also called in at the nearby premises of Nordan Scandic who are sponsoring the new away kit, and as promised we have the first pictures here at raithroversfc.com.
The new kit is produced by PUMA one of the leading brands of sportswear in the UK and the world, and the home kit consists of the traditional navy blue with white flashings with the shirt featuring the logo of home sponsors Fife Autocentre, and the away kit is white with red and carries the name of the away sponsors NorDan across the shirt, with both kits featuring the famous 'cat’ logo of PUMA and the club crest.
The new kit is not yet available to buy, but a full launch is targeted for the end of June/ start of July with the club awaiting precise dates for delivery from the supplier.
