Notts County 2007-2008 new football kits

The new-look Notts County away kit hits the shelves and goes on sale this weekend at the Notts County Club Shop.

The all-blue kit, accompanied by a yellow stripe, will be Notts' second strip for the forthcoming season and will be worn on the opening day of the season at Grimsby Town - and it also expected to be worn in this Friday's friendly at Ilkeston Town.

The kit will be on sale from 9am this forthcoming Saturday morning (28 July) with extended opening hours until 4pm on Saturday to accompany the launch of the new shirt which will also be able to be purchased from our Online Store, along with the new home kit which has been available all summer. The kits have once again been designed and produced by the Club's Technical Sponsors Precision Training, and their National Sales Manager Dave Sanderson said: "Our new range of playing kits for Notts are both high performance and stylish. "We have received excellent feedback from players and supporters alike and are sure that all three kits are going to prove extremely popular. "We have stayed loyal to the black and white striped heritage of the club, and there are strong historical precedents to use royal blue and white colour schemes for the club's change strips." The launch of the special edition all-white third kit is scheduled in for October. Only a limited number of shirts will be made available.

Magpies players Jason Lee and David Pipe officially unveiled the new-look black-and-white striped kit at Meadow Lane. And the great news for fans is that they will be able to buy the kit on the day of the last home game against Darlington. The Precision Training-designed kit again reflects the traditional black-and-white striped heritage of Notts.

The new shirt has a narrower black and white stripe than the current model, and is complemented again by black shorts and black socks. Notts chief executive Geoff Davey said: "This is a great-looking fit and we are sure it is going to be a firm favourite with players and supporters alike. "We have worked hard with Precision Training to have the kit on sale in our club shop at Meadow Lane on Saturday. "The big benefit for supporters is that they will now be able to wear the kit throughout the summer. "Traditionally, kits are not available to fans until August and - in some cases - until after the season has begun. "Bringing forward the sale date is something we believe will prove very popular with supporters."

Precision Training, official technical sponsors of the Magpies, are based in Nottingham and national sales manager David Sanderson said: "We are delighted with the new shirt and believe that it will prove extremely popular with supporters."Again, our designers in conjunction with officials and supporter groups at the club, have designed a classic striped Notts County shirt which reflects the heritage of the club."Working with the club to bring forward the sale date to supporters by several months means that fans will be able to wear the kit throughout the summer ahead of the team starting the new season in August." The new-look home kit has a number of new features compared to the kit worn during the current campaign which includes thinner and more stripes on the shirt, a collar with the initials NCFC on the back and also the words THE MAGPIES on the back and at the bottom of the black panel. As our shots reveal the new kit is certainly very smart, and you will be able to view the kit first hand on Saturday as the squad will be wearing the kit on Saturday when we take on Darlington - and the shirt will be able to be purchased from 9am on Saturday morning from the Club Shop.

I can already see people rioting against this one...like arius said, it would make a decent training top.

I get can't on board with this one. Sorry. I'm not even an Arsenal fan so I think you'll struggle to convince them.
