The pre-round poll for the best EPL football shirt of the year has ended. With a total of 3289 votes in the last 4 days the 10 winners who will go into the Football Boots awards 2008 on Footy-Boots.com are : Arsenal, Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers, Fulham, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Portsmouth and Sunderland.We will be focusing our attention on setting up an FSC (world-wide) football shirt award for 2009 and any feedback on how to make next year's football shirt award a honest one is welcome.

Footy-Boots.com will be launching the Football Boots Awards 2008 on the 21st July.

It\'s obvious that ManCity, Manu and Sunderland fans were posting this link on there fans message forums to vote over and over again. The pompey shirt was by far the best... how can anyone say Manu shirt was the best is a joke. Im a Gooner and even I didnt vote for our top.

I\'ve always been a fan of Man U but there\'s no way that last year\'s home shirt could be considered a great design by any stretch of the imagination.

Ditto Liverpool, which was pretty bland and shouldn\'t have ended up anywhere near the top 5.

Sadly, it seems people will vote for their own team irrespective of the design so I can\'t really see what you can do to make sure any future vote is \'honest\'.
