The corn yellow color looks putrid. The color scheme looks like it was a product from an LSD hallucination, to be honest.

I hate it. I hate the corn yellow. I wish we had a different away color, and I wish we incorporated some more prominent red in it.

On the positive..the fabric texture looks sweet. I bet it feels great on....it just looks like shite, sad to say...
so that in 25 years...when someone does a Worst Kit Ever competition...you could take it out and enter it as a potential contest winner. There might be some sort of macabre value in it in that regard, I suppose...

It really stays ugly and gets slightly uglier each time I look at it...yikes!

The new home kit is bad..it looks like a high school or youth kit..but this away kit is just foul.....
While I don\'t dislike the new Home at all (I kind of like the new take on the sleeves) I don\'t understand why Nike invited the shitstorm they\'re getting by releasing an away kit with contrast sleeves. The first thing everyone says to me is that they should have made the home shirt with this template.

I actually think that this shirt wouldn\'t look bad with yellow/red/blue sleeves like the home shirt (i.e. make the underarm part of the sleeves yellow like the home has red.

I think the biggest thing is that I can\'t decide if I would like the shirt to be more yellow and navy or orange and black.
I like it, it has grown on me since the first time I saw the shirt.

The new away shirt looks very retro and doesnt seem to try too hard to impress, if you get what I mean?

I wonder if this shirt will bring as much luck to Arsenal as when they won the Championship at Anfield a good few years ago now.
The pictures are taken from an ebay auction that was up. The reason there is the word \'sample\' written is that a store owner is selling the shirt that nike gives football shops for their upcoming product lines (he discussed this in the auction), which is why he pointed out and has a vivid picture of the sample.

if it were a fake, they wouldnt take a picture of the word \'sample\'

otherwise, I didn\'t like it at first, but it has grown on me so far. 4/5, I think it will look much better in person. I\'ld like to see what the entire kit looks like before i judge, not just the shirt. I didn\'t like the home kit for 08/09 until you can see the entire kit together, and i think this will be the same
I wasn\'t impressed by the home shirt n thought that the away shirt might do the justice n balance it out. But it\'s worse. Who ever gets this will be probably someone with extremely poor taste in fashion. I still love the 06-08 kit n still hate the 06-08 away kit (maron n blue).

Very poor start to the season and I can\'t see them winning anything again
I love it! Really reminds me of Mickey Thomas. Anyone who says this shirt isnt \'arsenal\' really needs their heads examining. Its as arsenal as you can get!!!!! As for the new home shirt, lets face it, last years shirt was as \'classic\' arsenal as you could get. Take the gold trim/sponser away and you could imagine charlie george running around in it. They were gonna HAVE to make a fair number of changes to make this shirt look different. Personally i think both are great. So what if the sleeves on the home kit arent 100% white. who cares? So long as its red and white then its arsenal.

Good work boys! Ill be proud to wear both kits next year! 2008/2009 = the year of arsenal!
Look shitty in these pics but I think it will look better on the players Remember, the genuine \"Code 7\" player-issued shirts are made with much better, smoother, and shinier material than this waffle \"Fit-Dry\" shit they use in the replicas that they sell to fans. Still, I think both kits are a big step down from last season, tho I\'m glad to be rid of white as an away color.
