Coritiba home 098/09 lotto football kits

The Brazilian football club Coritiba launched its new line of football kits for the 08/09 season after signing a 3 year deal with the Italian Lotto as the official supplier of their football equipment.

Coritiba's first kit was used from 1909 to 1916, and was composed of green and white vertical stripes. Coritiba's second kit, used from 1916 to 1976 was an all-white one. The current home kit is composed of a white shirt, with two green parallel horizontal stripes and black shorts and white socks. The away kit is composed of a green and white vertical stripes shirt, black shorts and green socks. These kits were adopted in 1976.

The 2008-2009 home shirt maintains the traditional model, with two horizontal stripes in green and white. The away shirt follows the same pattern, with vertical stripes in green and white.

I approve...white shirt is very good, and striped one is simple as a striped shirt should be.

A thing I cannot stand in brazilian shirts is the similarity between H and A shirts.

I agree with FDV about similarity regarding home and away shirt colours, it\'s a common thing in Brazil and a number of other parts of the world. However I know Coritiba have had third kits (usually black) in previous seasons for when they play other teams in green and white, e.g. Juventude, so I wouldn\'t be surprised if they have a third kit introduced during the course of the season.

She can wear the hat as long as I get to give it to her bum.

Their logo looks (from a quick glance) like Starbucks\' logo...

and this fashion show for football shirts is so stupid.

I like it. Not sure about the sleeve patches though. Place your bets...

Stoke will be wearing the same sleeve patches too.

I beg to differ
