Cambridge United announced the launch of their new all light blue change kit, which will be worn for the first time at the Torquay United game on 6th December 2008.
Club Secretary Wayne Purser explained the choice: "The current white kit caused us problems on several occasions last season when we had to wear the yellow 'Sweden lookalike' kit instead, and this season at Forest Green the referee was touch and go about us wearing either kit, eventually letting us wear the black and amber shirt with white shorts and socks."
Purser added, "We discussed various options with Vandanel and decided on the light blue and navy design for practical and fashion reasons."

It is hoped that the shirt will be available for purchase from the week commencing 1st December 2008, and it can be pre-ordered via the club shop.
Also, a limited stock of the Cambridge United amber and black striped shirt bearing the black Kershaw logo is on sale now and would make an ideal gift for a United fan.
A strictly limited stock of 300 shirts are on sale now in all sizes from 12 months to XXL, at the normal prices of £30 for youth sizes and £40 for adults. Shirts are available on a 'first come, first served' basis as only 300 are available.
