FC Groningen 08/09 Klupp away football shirt

Evgeniy Levchenko has recently shown the new Groningen away shirt for a photo shoot. The purple shirt refers to the colour that the FC Groningen wore in the founding season 1971/1972.

FC Groningen start next 08-09 season with its own kit manufacturer. In recent years the Pride of the North played in Umbro kits, but from the 2008/2009 season, Groningen brought its own kit brand on the market: Sportswear Klupp.

FC Groningen collaborates with the Dutch football club NAC Breda and clothing manufacturer LNL Sportswear BV ( LEGEA Netherlands) who are both part of the newly established company.

I\'ve seen green and purple stripes once before, on a Hibernian away kit from the mid-90s. That one was bad, this one isn\'t really any better.
