Hearts 2008-2009 away Umbro football kit

Hearts unveiled their new away kit for the 08/09 season made by Umbro. The brand new away kit reflects Hearts' Scottish identify, using a dark navy colour synonymous with Scotland, whilst reflecting an original shirt design that was popular nearly 30 years ago!

On either side of the main navy panel, there are white sleeves, with navy flashes. The shorts are navy, whilst the socks are white with navy flashes.

Specific detail on the brand new shirt includes an embroidered tail at the bottom of the back of the shirt with the words, 'Hearts, Hearts, Glorious Hearts'. Inside the neck line of the shirt the club's year of formation, '1874' is also inscribed. On the back of the shirt, above where the name and number is placed, is a Scottish saltire - again reflecting the club's history as a truly Scottish institution. Umbro have designed this unique brand new away kit using their exclusive Climate Control technology, making the kit the coolest Hearts will have ever worn - in every sense of the word! Kids are sure to love the brand new away kit, and with the launch date just in time for the school holidays, it's the perfect chance to make sure they are ready for the summer in tip-top style.

Supporters will be able to see the new kit, as modelled by the players and children in a variety of locations over the next three months including: in store; online; outdoor banners; bus 'super-side' adverts; via direct mail; and on a truly national TV advertising campaign (running from the last week of July until early August).

Good kit... reminds me the Ajax style... but classy. Kind of simple but nice.
