Hull City must find a 3rd kit

Hull City must find a 3rd kit for their FA Cup replay at newcastle United as both their present kits clash with the Newcastle's black and white home kit.

In September 2008, Hull City followed Premier League procedures fully in the build up to the game against Newcastle in the EPL by registering their second choice strip in advance of this fixture.

It was only when the team arrived at the ground that the match referee, as is his right, decided that in his opinion the flint coloured away kit was in fact too similar to Newcastle United's home kit.

With Newcastle United's co-operation, they were able to wear their second choice white shorts and white socks to enable the match officials to distinguish between the two teams.

"We have got a massive problem - we don't have a third-choice strip," admitted manager Phil Brown.

"We can't wear our home kit and we can't wear our away. Hopefully Umbro can come up with something."

Why not have Newcastle wear their away kit at home? I\'m pretty sure England have worn their away kit at Wembley when it was launched on sale to get people to buy it...but I could be wrong.

This is a wet dream for umbro and the club.....a forced release of a third strip. The fans cant complain because the kit is actually needed. They could the plain amber from last year but they wont.

Why sdo they not just wear last season\'s home shirt with last season\'s away shorts? Problem solved?
