Manchester City 08/09 Home Le Coq Sportif Kit

Manchester City FC unveiled its new home kit for the 2008/09 season, in association with Official Club Sponsor, Thomas Cook, and Official Sportswear Partner, le coq sportif.

The home strip will be launched at the City Stores at the City of Manchester Stadium and the Arndale Centre, central Manchester, on Saturday 19 July. Please note, following customer feedback on last season’s kits, the sizing guide has been revised and all strips are a more generous fit than in previous years.

The away strip, whose black and red stripes are reminiscent of this year’s Thomas Cook Trophy opponents AC Milan, will be available to order online from Monday 21 July.

What was wrong with the simple classy kit from last season?
Is it me or are the sponsors getting bigger

Those shorts would go great with the third top from last year (white with the blue shoulder stripe). This year\'s home shirt... not so much. :-?

I don\'t think that the home shirt actually looks that bad, it\'s those s*u*i* shorts that let the whole thing down. Like someone said they look like they belong on a different kit.

messy, boring, uninspiring, drab, dull...what a complete waste of time, energy and money ( for design, production, marketing, distribution)

but if a club makes new kits every season, then they\'re bound to run out of good ideas innit?

    NEW KITS EVERY SECOND SEASON!!!

Dump Le Coq Sportif please! last season was the best you are going to get from them!

It\'s like Vandanel (or whatever) copying a nice Premier League template. Horrible. Sunday league copy of last season\'s (very nice) kit. Rubbish.
