Cheltenham Town unveiled their new 08/09 home shirt made by Errea and Anthony sent us a leaked picture with the 2008-09 yellow away kit on it . The home kit is a return to a mainly red style of shirt with red shorts and red socks following a number of variations on a red and white striped theme over the last few years. Cheltenham’s first colours were deep red, earning them the nickname of “The Rubies.”
It will be the club's first mainly red shirt since season 1996-97, when the Robins won promotion to the Conference from the Southern League Premier Division, and the players will wear it for the first time in Saturday's last home match of the season against Doncaster Rovers.
Today also marks the beginning of the new main sponsorship deal involving locally-based company Kohler Mira. The shirts therefore carry the 'Mira Showers' logo and are on sale from today in the club shop.

Mira Showers was established over 80 years ago and was recently acquired by Kohler Co, a leading American manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen products.
Kohler Mira is the leading manufacturer of showers in the UK and has its headquarters within a mile of Cheltenham Town's Whaddon Road ground. The company has been based in Cheltenham since the 1930s and now employs 1000 people locally.
In another new development the club shop at Whaddon Road is now under the management of Protech Sport, a company owned by Cheltenham Town right-back Jerry Gill, making Jerry the first player-club shop manager in the Football League!
