Santos launched their new home, away and 3rd kits for the 08/09 season made by umbro. The latest innovation is the third shirt, in the colour blue, which will be used in some games during the 2008/2009 season.
According to Santos and Umbro it is a tribute to the first shirt used by Santos in 1912. In the first year of its history, the club used a shirt with a blue shield of Concórdia. It has not yet been set if the team will use the uniform in the official competition.
