Aberdeen unveiled the new home kit for the 2009/10 season mad by Nike.

The Reds have gone retro with the new kit embracing design features including a horizontal stripe across the shirt and echoing kits from previous season's we have returned to traditional ways with a sleek embroidered badge.

The new kit will officially go on sale on Thursday 11th June.

The shirt is constructed from Nike's innovative Dri-Fit fabric, which keeps players drier, cooler and lighter by drawing sweat from the body to the fabric's surface, while its mesh back panel provides optimum ventilation rapidly moving moisture away from the body.

It's already a popular design with the squad and they believe the fans will be equally impressed.

"The new kit looks really smart and more importantly it feels comfortable which is important during the course of a game. I'm sure it will be a hit with the supporters."said Zander
