This is Charlton Athletic's brand new home shirt for the 2009/10 season - launched after the Addicks signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Kent Reliance Building Society.

The new red shirt, which will be worn for the first time by Charlton's players at Welling United on Wednesday night, is made of a lightweight breathable fabric.

It features the return of a collar for the first time in eight years, plus a white stripe down the left-hand side of the front of the jersey, reminiscent of the club's centenary kit in 2004/05.

The white shorts of the new home kit, which is again manufactured by Spanish firm Joma, have a peach finish sports fabric. The socks are white and red.

The new kit will be officially launched towards the end of July, with the launch of the away strip following before the start of the season.

Fans are not currently able to pre-order the strip, however, and more information regarding the official launch and how to purchase the kit will be publicised at a later date. is emblazoned on the front of the jerseys under the terms of the sponsorship deal, which is one of the biggest agreements in League One, as well as comparing very favourably with the upper echelons of the Championship.

The agreement also includes a series of bonuses based on the club's success in league and cup competitions.
