The white one is very boring. Only the eagle\'s shadow gives it a sense.
I like the colours of the dark one, even if maroon is not very Russian.. red was better, like in CCCP times.Anyway, I like it, coz it reminds me of AS Roma 91/92 shirt, the first supplied by Adidas, the last year we have been maroon-yellow before becoming maroon-orange.>
Reminds me of those leaked Bayern Munich and Chelsea kits that was featured here.

The kits look great especially if you seen it from a distance just like the 4th pic. The color for the home kit looks great but I\'m having 2nd thoughts about the white one \'cause its so regular. But Overall, its a good kit by Adidas for Russia
I can\'t stand Adidas kits, full stop. So boxy and graceless. The most recent Nike shirt was way better with the tricouleur and teh grandshirt neck.

I know it\'s an endlessly argument, but Adidas is best summed up by its logo: a big, clunking pyramid - going nowhere. NIke tick: speed, grace, conviction.
I must say, I love the touch on the collar. Gives it that \"imperial look\" someone above me was talking about. Like the home color, away is bland, but It\'s not too bad. Adidas logo is way too close to the stripes, seems a bit off-putting for a guy like me. Euro Nike kit was class, but this isn\'t too bad.
This new Adidas WC template has an uncomfortably tight neckline. Everyone\'s hair will get messed up when putting it on!

The only interesting thing Adidas has going for them is the positioning of the sleeve stripes. Other than that, even the GK design is too sterile for me. The home kit colors are very much CCCP-inspired. Interesting, since politics played a part in the Russian FA canceling their \'American\' ties with Nike.

Although this kit isn\'t as nice as Nike\'s Euro \'08, it has more personality and class, as it looks at it summons the regal Soviet aesthetic.
Why is there a gap in the sleeve stripes?
Why does it have to have a bra attached?
Why do they feel that the adidas logo deserves a more prominent position than the team\'s crest?
Why does it have to have such an idiotic looking collar?
Why does it have to have a ridiculous graphic on the front?

Whoever designed this clearly had too much vodka. Every single thing that adidas have done in the past couple years has been total crap. I\'ve always thought that the simpler a kit is, the better, but adidas somehow feels that they need to load their shirts with a bunch of busy, useless rubbish. If this really is what the next Chelsea kit will look like, I certainly won\'t be buying it. It would be embarrassing to wear a shirt like that in public.
Not bad, but nowhere near as good as the Nike kits Russia used in Euro 2008, before the switch to adidas.

The collar on the home shirt would look good if they lost the zipper-like line down the middle. And I\'m not quite sold on the burgundy either. Maybe a pure red with white striping and white socks would have worked better.

If the shirt otherwise, plain, I\'ll bet you say that the shirt is boring. Adidas just want to look different.
VERY DIRECTIONAL FOR ADIDAS! AND I\'M GLAD, ITS REFRESHING TO SEE THEM DO THIS AND I THINK IT\'D WORK. I\'M IMPRESSED EVEN IF I DON\'T COMPLETELY LIKE THE DESIGN THERE NOT DOING A \'\'SOFT ADIDAS TEMPLATE\'\' BUT DOING SOMETHING THAT ISN\'T WITHEN THE TREND. I EXPESCIALLY LIKE THAT THE STRIPES STOP AT THE SHOULDER SEEM. (QUITE RETRO) I ALSO LIKE THAT ITS FITTED ( A STYLE THAT WILL BE BECOME COMMON, NOT THANKS TO ADIDAS BUT OF PROGRESSION) AND I THINK THE COLORWAY IS DARING, ITS NOT LIKE ADIDAS TO CONSIDER ADAPTING/CHANGING TRADITION .....UNLESS NIKE HAVE DONE. VERY GOOD, AS THE LAST KIT (THE NIKE ONE) WAS VERY GOOD TOO!
I agree with the comment about the home kit looking like a cyclist\'s shirt. At first I thought it was a zip up front. The thin white stripe adds nothing to the effect and the collar looks high and tight and I would imagine is going to be pretty uncomfortable in hot weather.

On the plus side the colour looks great (although I thought \'true\' red was the traditional Russian colour as per their national flag). The the double headed eagle print is also very good.

I like the current Adidas Russian shirt much more I have to say.
The home shirt is fantastic. It has this regal or imperial look that reminds of the tsar and Dr. Zhivago and the collar gives it a little bit of bolshevik feel. It gives Russia confidence as a true empire with rich history and not just some poor country that has been a mess since all those years under communism. Probably not for everyones taste but it´s quite original. One of the best international shirts after the white Scotland away with the blue cross.

The away one is just boring and as a Spain fan I really don´t like the new Spain shirts. They look like a warm up jersey for an olympic swimming team.
The white jersey is only a qualification jersey...much like the Blue France Jersey that was just released. adidas is launching their new Home Federation Jerseys in December of 2010 and the Russian one is Gold and Burgandy - exact opposite of the home kit. Some stated above they like the old adidas Russian Jersey...it was Nike, not adidas. The new adidas ones have more culture embossed in the jersey that you can only see up close...picture cannot capture all the hidden emblems on the new kits. They are actually very detailed despite the pictures, but don\'t worry they won\'t be wearing the White Jersey for Worl Cup 2010, or at least it is not their WC 2010 Away Jersey, that one is gold.
