Fiorentina have presented their new Lotto kits for the 2009–10 Serie A season. The collection includes home, away and third options that continue the club’s long-standing colour tradition.
The home shirt features the club’s trademark purple with gold trim across the shoulders and sleeves. The away kit appears in white with purple detailing, while the third shirt is produced in red with white accents. All three versions display the Toyota sponsor across the front, the Lotto logo on the chest and sleeves, and the club’s fleur-de-lis crest positioned centrally.
Since 1928, purple has been Fiorentina’s signature colour, earning them the nickname La Viola. The club’s original 1926 shirts were red and white halves, colours taken from the city’s emblem. The red shirt has become the most used third option in recent history, appearing in several seasons since 1995–96 alongside occasional yellow or silver alternatives.
