This is the new Derry City Umbro Home shirt - to be worn in the 2015 season and, firstly, in the upcoming FAI Cup Final, 2014 season climax, against St. Patrick's Athletic.
In the standard red and white striped style, this time with the red stripes thicker than the white, the shirt also has a contrasting neat black collar. The sponsor's logo - reading, aptly on an Umbro shirt, Diamond Corrugating - is front and centre, and the Umbro logo is black with the embroidered crest on the opposite side. The overall look of the shirt may recall, for some, that of recent Umbro Athletic Bilbao Umbro designs.
Umbro Ireland will also provide black shorts and white socks for the Candystripes, to be worn in the cup final and in next year's league, cup and any European campaigns.
