Celtic Football Club, of the Scottish Premiership, have unveiled their new Nike Away football shirt and kit, to be worn when required in the 2014-15 season.
Nodding to Celtic's Scottish traditions, combined with Irish origins, the new Away shirt is in a deep green which references the first the club wore. This is complemented with an enlarged graphic of the official Celtic Football Club tartan - including green and gold - with gold trim on the collar and cuffs.
Inside the neck is the legend "A club like no other" and the shorts and socks match with tones of green - with the new Nike signature chevrons on the back of the latter.
Like most Nike releases, the kit includes Nike Dri-Fit technology to draw sweat away from the body and keep players cool, dry and comfortable, along with laser-cut ventilation holes and mesh panels to work in tandem. This is all housed in a new dual-knit fabric comprising both cotton and recycled polyester.
The kit - created largely from recycled plastic bottles - has also been produced after 3D body scans were taken of some of the world’s leading footballers, ensuring optimum fit and feel.
