Football Shirt Culture

This image, we believe, shows the new Puma Newcastle United Home football shirt, to be worn in the 2015-16 season.

The North East club will go back to a classic look, with their now familiar colour palette of black, white, blue and gold.

The black and white stripes synonymous with the Magpies are rendered with virtually no embellishment, and black stripes run down each shoulder-cum-sleeve. The trim - by way of the deep V-neck collar and thin sleeve cuffs - is in blue, and the Puma logo appears in gold.

The shorts and socks to finish off this look will most likely be black with white, blue and gold in ever-diminishing quantities.

Impossible to be as bad as this year's. But still what's with the weird blue shadows on the black stripes?

I could be wrong but I think this is a fake.

Wonga is adding a lot of blue on their home shirt, each year I see more blue. Home shirt should be black and white, simple as that.
