Hartlepool United 2018-19 BLK Home Kit

Hartlepool United unveiled their new 18/19 home kit for the new National League season.

The home shirt sees a return to the more traditional royal blue and white stripes, complemented with a classy gold trim on the sleeves, the collar and along the shoulder.

The shirt – which is finished with a gold BLK logo and embroidered gold Club crest – will be combined with blue shorts and blue socks.

Designed in partnership with official kit supplier BLK, the new shirts are once again sponsored by Utility Alliance.

    Why have Hartlepool chosen gold trim? Shouldn't gold be the preserve of clubs who have actually won something?

    Aren't Hartlepool now owned by the chancer who destroyed Darlington?

    I suspect that, within a year of so, Hartlepool fans will be longing for the good old days of perennial turgid mediocrity, as their club slips permanently out of sight.

    @Socrates The colour 'Limestone Gold' is the official colour of the club badge which was introduced last year and replaced the ships wheel which was a fans favorite. This is why I'd guess BLK have chosen to add this to the trim of the home shirt and use it as a second colour for the new away kit...

    The style of collar and cuffs remind me of Wigan Athletic or Kilmarnock.
    Not keen on the new badge.
