Manchester City 2018-19 Nike Away Kit

Manchester City 2018-19 Nike Away Kit

The Manchester City 18/19 away kit by Nike harks back to two decades ago, when the 1998-99 squad won what many consider as the most important game in the club’s history, and sparked the modern-day revival of its winning ways.

The dark blue shirt with field blue and yellow pin stripes down the front and back recall the Club’s away shirt for a playoff final against Gillingham.

After being down 2-0 at the end of normal time, City scored two dramatic injury-time goals and later won the match on penalties, taking them back up to Division One. Volt-colored socks with a dark blue band around the shin completes the fresh look for the Premier League Champions.

@chips Why are you bringing United's kit into this discussion? Please keep that in it's appropriate thread!

Immediately struck my attention when first saw it. It looks attractively different. Am not a City fan but I'd feel no shame of getting one for self if only to wear it as a casual tee. It's a hit in my books.

They do come up with some marketing bs. Nice kit.....but playoff game vs Gillingham they wore navy/yellow stripes that looks nothing like this ;)

@Andrew They would have benefitted from a thin sky blue stripe above and below the navy band (similar to the style of Brazil's socks in the WC) - that said, I like it... shirt looks great. :D
