As worn against Pisa last Friday, this is the Empoli Football Club special edition Centenary shirt by Kappa.

In claret with white contrast (lace-up) collar and cuffs, the long-sleeved shirt has a tonal retro monogram crest on the chest, with seemingly a slightly lighter tonal Kappa “Omini” logo on the opposite side - presumably for greater visibility of the branding.

The shirt carries no sponsor but is sold with contrasting “Empoli [-] 100” printing in white on the reverse, to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the Italian Serie B club’s formation.

The shirt was worn with similarly styled dark grey shorts and socks.

A great example of how to do centenary shirts.
