The new, 2020-21 season Home shirt for the Portuguese Primeira Liga side has green and white vertical stripes, with two twists in that the green stripes are divided vertically and there is also staggering rather than the traditional unbroken approach.
This striking look is marketed as nodding to the unpredictable nature of the “Rio Ave” river and the Atlantic Ocean on which the club’s home of Vila do Conde sits, while embellishment is provided by the full-colour crest and the partner branding - including the Nike Swoosh.
