This season welcomes the return of Atlético de Madrid’s popular dark blue away colours to a new kit that heralds El Doblete, the 1995-6 double triumph that stands as one of the club’s defining achievements.
Throughout this memorable season in which Atlético de Madrid claimed both La Liga and the Copa del Rey, the club wore a dark blue away kit. For 2015-16 a refreshed, modernized take on this design will grace pitches across Spain and beyond.
As on the home kit, inside the back of the neck sits a small tab of the Spanish flag featuring the anniversary dates of ‘1995/96’ and ‘2015/16’.
