Everton and Umbro have revealed the Club’s new away kit for the 2017/18 season.
The new design takes inspiration from the iconic tower which features on the Club crest and the memorial gates at Goodison Park, using a subtle geometric pattern to bring tradition into a modern kit design.
Complementing the new 2017/18 home kit, the strip includes a slimline version of Umbro’s classic diamond graphic running down the sleeves and a Dixie Dean motif on the back of the neck, as chosen by Evertonians through a fan vote.
The Club has worn grey in other seasons, including 1988/90, 1994/96, 2001/02, 2005/06 and also during the 1984/85 title-winning campaign.
To help improve performance on the pitch, Umbro has used a jacquard fabric with ergonomic placed panels. The knitted graphic pattern and contrast heat applied tape provide heritage, with a professional design. The accompanying shorts in a darker block grey have a tailored silhouette and a combination of stretch woven and mesh fabrics for easier movement, while the socks feature separate leg and technical ankle sections.
