The Colorado Rapids unveiled today their new Home kit ahead of the 2020 Major League Soccer season.
Featuring a burgundy colourway with sky blue accents, “The Nine Six” jersey commemorates the Rapids’ 25th season as one of the league’s founding clubs.
“The Nine Six” jersey features the iconic 3-stripe adidas EQT (equipment) designs, which first debuted in the 1990s when MLS was formed and have been brought back for the league’s all-new, 26-team collection. Unique to The Nine Six is a Colorado State flag jock tag and its iconic “C” as an appliqué at the back neck. The jersey also honours the club’s history as an MLS original with a silver, nine-star ‘Founding Club’ mark that is only featured on the Authentic jerseys of the nine MLS founding clubs.
