Peruvian Liga 1 side FBC Melgar have launched their new Home shirt.
Manufactured by Walon, the shirt is marketed as La Gloriosa and consists of black and red halves with a shadow effect of striping, a full-colour crest and gold detailing.
This detailing includes special seals: one on the inside of the neck pays tribute to former star Eduardo “Patato” Márquez - who passed last year - and another on the upper back referencing the 50th anniversary of the Patato-inspired Copa Perú win in 1971.
The 2021 season will see Melgar sporting the shirt with black shorts and socks.
