This is the new, 2020-21 season, FC Köln “Karneval” kit by Uhlsport.
The seventh version of the Karneval kit for the German Bundesliga side is released despite the Covid-19 pandemic preventing the Cologne carnival from going ahead.
The design is based on the outfit of a Karneval fixture, the “Lappenclown”, and features eleven symbols amongst the red and white patterning - complete with drop shadow for texture - to represent the club’s home city.
Gold is used for further embellishment - including for the Uhlsport chest logo and trim on the collar - while the city crest and club crest both feature on the chest, and the shirt is combined with white shorts and matching patterned socks.
