This is the new, special edition, Fortuna Düsseldorf “Köbes” shirt.
This Uhlsport-manufactured design has been released in 2020-21 to support the local hospitality industry and is styled like the blue shirts so often worn by the local beer-serving “Köbe” waiters.
The club crest is embroidered in gold on a mock-pocket detail and there are nine line marks on one cuff and five on the other - nodding to the Köbes’ totting up of customers’ beer consumption and the club’s “[18]95” year of establishment.
To be worn in the 2. Bundesliga match against SV Sandhausen on 13th March, with “Düsseldorf” legend on the upper back and bedecked with partner logos in white, the retailed version comes in a beer mat-styled presentation box and with a $5 “counter” redeemable for purchases in local bars.
